ASSESSMENTS AT OUR CENTRE

Understanding a child’s developmental profile helps us provide the most appropriate support and learning environment.
We offer
two types of assessments, depending on the level of insight required.

CENTRE DEVELOPMENTAL ASSESSMENTS
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS

STEP 2: DEEPER DEVELOPMENTAL EVALUATION (IF REQUIRED)

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS

(Conducted by a registered Clinical Psychologist)

In some cases, families may benefit from a more comprehensive and standardized evaluation to better understand a child’s developmental profile. This may be helpful when parents are seeking diagnostic clarification, schools require formal reports, or deeper understanding of a child’s cognitive and developmental profile is needed.

Option 2A)  DEVELOPMENTAL SCREENING & CONSULTATION

The Developmental Screening is conducted by a registered clinical psychologist and is designed to identify potential developmental concerns that may require further evaluation or support.

This screening involves a combination of parent interview and behavioural observation. The aim is to obtain an

initial overview of the child’s developmental profile and determine whether further diagnostic assessment may be beneficial.

  • Social Interaction – Engagement with others, response to social cues, and participation in social situations.

  • Behavioral & Emotional Regulation – How the child manages emotions, transitions, and responses to environmental demands.

  • Developmental & Learning Skills – Early cognitive abilities, attention, and learning readiness.

ABOUT:
